Jimmy Neutron’s Nicktoon
Blast
Height requirement: 40 inches or sit in the stationary
seats
Based on Nickelodeon’s popular movie and TV show,
Jimmy Neutron’s Nicktoon Blast is a wild simulator
ride through the world of Jimmy Neutron and other Nick
toons.
Jimmy and his buddy Carl introduce you to their newest
rocketship the Mark IV when his archenemy Ooblar the
Yokian, steals the Mark IV and dashes off to use the
invention to enslave the Earth. Jimmy and his friend
enlist us to use the Mark I to catch Ooblar the Yokian
and retrieve the Mark IV. The wild adventure takes us
into the Nickelodeon backlot, into other space, and
even underwater. Along the way, we meet various Nick
characters, including the Rugrats and Spongebob Squarepants.
We also encounter a monstrous fire-breathing dragon.
This simulator ride has the most unique motion at one
point. I’ll let you find this one on your own,
but remember to bring your dancing shoes!
The ride exits into an interactive area. You can have
a meet and greet with Spongebob Squarepants. Other stations
allow you to e-mail cards to friends, or be a director
or add sound effects to a Nick cartoon. One station
tests you on your Nickelodeon trivia. Those who score
big can play a game where you point a rocketship through
hazardous territory. You don’t need to ride the
simulator to experience the interactive area -- just
enter through the gift shop.
If you are prone to motion sickness or do not meet
the height requirement, stationary seats are available
in the front. Also, if you choose these seats, your
wait time will considerably be less. Follow the signs
to a special queue for the stationary seats.
Note: Any child who meets the height
requirements for the rides but is less than 48 inches
must be accompanied by an adult who can assist the child
to enter and exit the ride.
