Two-Day Universal Orlando Itinerary
This balanced itinerary covers Universal Studios Florida on day one and Islands of Adventure on day two, with a CityWalk evening. It works best with a two-park, two-day ticket and (ideally) Express Pass from an on-site hotel.
Day 1 — Universal Studios Florida
Morning: arrive early, hit the headliners
Arrive 30 minutes before opening. Go straight to Revenge of the Mummy or Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit while waits are short. Then ride Men in Black: Alien Attack — see our MIB tips to boost your score.
Midday: shows & the back lot
Catch the Horror Make-Up Show, then explore the New York and San Francisco areas. Ride Transformers: The Ride-3D and Despicable Me Minion Mayhem.
Afternoon: finish the park
Hit Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Simpsons Ride and, if time allows, E.T. Adventure. Finish with the Universal Orlando's Cinematic Celebration night show.
Day 2 — Islands of Adventure
Morning: Hulk & Marvel
Head to Marvel Super Hero Island first for The Incredible Hulk Coaster and The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man. Then ride Skull Island: Reign of Kong.
Midday: Jurassic Park & Toon Lagoon
Ride Jurassic Park River Adventure (expect to get wet) and the family-friendly Pteranodon Flyers. Cool off on Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls and Popeye & Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges.
Afternoon: Hogsmeade & Seuss
Visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade for Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and the Hogwarts Express. Wind down in Seuss Landing for family rides.
Evenings at CityWalk
After each park day, head to CityWalk for dining and nightlife — from the clubs and live music to movies. See the CityWalk dining guide for a bite between parks.
Making it even easier
Staying on-site includes Express Pass and lets you move freely between the two parks via the Hogwarts Express and CityWalk. If you have extra time, add a Wet 'n Wild morning.
